      <image:title>About - Rachel Dean, MSc Kinesiology</image:title>
      <image:caption>Rachel is a Registered Kinesiologist in Duncan, British Columbia. Rachel completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with Deborah Carruthers at Harmony Yoga Studio in Duncan in 2018 and a second 200 hr YTT with Fiji McAlpine and Mary Prefontaine in 2022. She is also a group fitness instructor and spin instructor. She is a previous varsity athlete in the sport of wrestling. Rachel is a life long learner and has taken courses and training in Advanced Exercise Prescription, Pre-Post Natal Fitness, Core Training, STOTT Pilates, Somatic Yoga, Neurokinetic Therapy, and Kinetic Link Training. Rachel’s continuous learning, allows her to draw on many different skill sets during training sessions to customize and tailor exercise programs to clients unique needs. As Yoga Instructor, Rachel will often infuse her training sessions with breath awareness, mind-body connection, and meditation. In her free time, Rachel can be found hiking and exploring Vancouver Island with her two boys (ages 15 and 11) and cuddling with her cats (Bob and Winnie).</image:caption>
